The entire haveli complex is an excellent example of Rajputana architecture, showcasing intricate work on yellow sandstone.
Gadsisar Lake: Constructed in the 14th century by Maharawal Gadsi Singh, this beautiful man-made lake served as the main water source for the city for centuries. Gadsisar Lake played a crucial role in Jaisalmer’s survival and prosperity, especially during droughts, by collecting rainwater through a well-designed drainage system from the surrounding areas.
Desert National Park: One of the largest national parks in India, Desert National Park spans an area of 3,162 square kilometres (1,221 square miles).
