How to Reach Thakurwadi By Road: Panvel in Navi Mumbai and Karjat Junction are well connected to Thakurwadi by road. You can either hire an auto or book a private taxi to reach the base camp (Thakurwadi). Taxi fares will be calculated according to your departure location. You also have to pay an entry fee at the starting point of the trek.
By Air: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai is the nearest airport to Thakurwadi Village. The airport is approximately 60 kilometres away and has excellent road connectivity. One can either hire a taxi to Thakurwadi from the airport or choose a train or bus for further travel.
By Train: Panvel is the last station in harbour and the nearest railway station to Thakurwadi Village. There are multiple trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Mumbai to Panvel. Panvel also has excellent railway connectivity with major cities in India. Moreover, Karjat Junction has direct trains from Kalyan that also has excellent railway connectivity across India.
