By Air: The nearest airport to Pushkar is Jaipur International Airport, situated around 146 kilometres away. Several domestic flights connect Jaipur to major cities in India. From Jaipur, you can take a taxi, bus, or car to reach Pushkar.
By train: Pushkar does have its own railway station (PUHT) but doesn't offer connectivity with major railway stations in India. Ajmer Junction is the nearest that has excellent rail connectivity, located about 15 kilometres away. You can take a train to Ajmer Sharif Station from various cities in India and then hire a taxi, rickshaw, or bus to reach Pushkar.
By Road: Apart from driving your own vehicle to the holy city, hiring a taxi from Jaipur or Ajmer is the most convenient option, especially if you have luggage or are travelling with a group. Otherwise, buses are a budget-friendly option for reaching Pushkar, readily available from Jaipur and Ajmer.
Note: If you don't find buses from Jaipur directly to Pushkar, take a bus to Ajmer. From Ajmer you can either hire a taxi or get into city buses, servicing Pushkar regularly.
Jagatpita Brahma Temple: This unique temple is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe according to Hinduism. It is considered highly auspicious for Hindu pilgrims to take a dip in the holy lake before visiting the Brahma Temple. The current structure is made of marble and sandstone, but the actual date of its origin remains a mystery.
Rama Vaikunthnath Temple: Inspired by South Indian temple architecture, the Rama Vaikunthnath Temple was built in the 20th century. It features around 300 sculptures of Hindu gods on its gopuram (tower). Worship is dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and Bhudevi, with idols crafted from black granite and adorned with gold ornaments. The temple closes in the afternoon and reopens at 4 p.m. for devotees.

Savitri Mata Temple: Perched atop the Ratnagiri mountain, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Savitri or Saraswati, wife of Lord Brahma. Reaching the temple involves a climb that takes about an hour, but there is also a ropeway for a more accessible ascent.
